Day 34, Thursday, August 10, 2006
55 this morning and still raining in Talkeetna. In fact, it's now 2:00pm as I'm typing and the rain is still falling. Yes, our flight was scrubbed for a third day in a row. We are going to hang around Talkeetna for a second night and head out in the morning for Anchorage unless the weather breaks and we get a flight reservation. Forcast for the next three days - rain. But they say that is the forecast for Alaska every day this time of year. We can get our flight to see McKinley "up close and personal" from Anchorage as well as here in Talkeetna so we will get it done before we leave the state. Great internet connection here and all pictures intended for the Blog have been posted. Please check older dates originally posted without pictures to see what is new. We would really appreciate knowing who is looking at our Blog and your comments about it and how we might make it more interesting.
