Day 21, Friday, July 28, 2006

Cool this morning at 41 and still cloudy and rainy. Starting to clear a little at noon. We are here in Whitehorse for a second day before crossing the border back into the USA and Alaska. Slow start today. Left campground around 3:00 pm after doing laundry, updating the blog, and washing the motorhome. Went for a tour of the S.S. Klondike. Then a hike in Miles Canyon along the Yukon River with the dogs. Weather cleared up and became sunny and very warm. Nice to dry out after about four days of rain and clouds. Grilled fresh Alaskan Salmon for dinner on the grill Darren gave Jim for his birthday (thanks Darren). Pictures will follow in a day or two. Isabelle still sick. Going to vet in morning if no improvement by morning.

Thanks Darren!
