Day 18, Tuesday, July 25, 2006

Much cooler this morning - 57. Sure feels good. Leaving campground soon for fuel, motorhome wash, ATM, and glass repair at noon. Heading for Muncho Lake this afternoon and the Northern Rockies Lodge and RV park. Glass got installed and we were on our way - Happy Campers again! Beautiful drive to Muncho Lake of 157 miles of winding mountain road. Saw Mountain Stone Sheep, Deer, Elk, and one Moose today. However, it was raining most of the day so views were limited. Our campsite is at the Northern Rockies Lodge right on the lake shore with beautiful aqua/green water and mountain peaks all around. Walked the dogs between the rain falls and let them swim in the lake. They really needed the bath! Enjoyed the evening taking in the tranquility of being so remote. No TV, no cell, no internet. It rained all night. Gas today was $3.90.
