Day 7, Friday, July 14, 2006
Left Devils Lake at 9:15 am today. We would not have minded staying longer if time allowed.
Arrived in Glasgow, Mt at 5:15 pm after driving 392 miles. A lot of construction delay today. Gas was $3.06 and $2.99 today.
We are camped at Cottonwood Motel, RV Park, Restaurant, and Casino. We ate in the restaurant last night then visited the casino for awhile. Ellen won $8.00 and I lost about $10.00.
Max bet at the games was $1.00 so not much action.
It was 96 here yesterday and probably going close to 100 today. Jim got up at 7:00am and washed Blue Boy before it got too hot. Have had to wash it every day so far because of all the bugs that get splattered everywhere - really thick!
We're leaving soon for Shelby, Mt then on into Canada Sunday morning. That's kind of like the real beginning of the adventure because it's out of the USA.
Free high-speed internet here and I was successful in adding some pictures to the Blog.
There is nothing to take a picture of here in Glasgow but if you re-check previous posts I've edited them to add the pictures. Nothing of great interest yet as far as pictures, but when we get to the Canadian Rockies, the Yukon, and Alaska the scenery should be excellent.
