Day 1, Saturday, July 8, 2006 We planned to leave on Sunday morning, but got too anxious to wait any longer. So we hurried up and finished loading “Blue Boy” (nickname for the motor home) and took off about 3:00 pm.

We got as far as Mitchell State Park in Cadillac, Mi.
Arrived at 7:00 pm after driving 213 miles.
Sunny afternoon.
