Day 5, Wednesday, July 12, 2006
Left Bemidji at 9:15 am. Had to get out of there. Hot, humid, dark, biting insects, dirt, etc. Thought we would make a quick trip to Devils Lake State Park, ND and have a full day there, but did not get to the campsite until 3:30 pm. The temperature is 94 but the humidity is low. We like this place and are going to spend two days here.
Drove 226 miles to get here and gas was $2.91 today.
Note: Still have not had access to high speed internet so cannot add pictures to the blog yet. When we have a high speed connection we will go back and edit each days posting and insert pictures “of the day”. Devils Lake is a native Verizon area so we can access the internet, but it’s not suitable for posting pictures.
